How to keep your New Year's Resolutions!

Every year we do our best to start the New Year strong and change our bad habits. "New Year, New Me", as some would say...right?? But, usually, we get about a month or two in and then give up. Some resolutions don't even make it past a week! So, here's a couple of tricks I've picked up over the past few years that have really helped me turn my resolutions into habits.

*Create A Mood/ Vision Board

This is one of my favorite things to do at the end of the year ,with a group of friends. I LOVE throwing an "End of the Year" party, with wine, a cheese board, and a shit load of magazines.

The key to making a good Vision board is finding little words or images that resemble some of the things you want to happen in the New Year. Putting them together in a collage and hanging it up above your desk, or in your room, where you will see it every day, to keep you motivated! And...it keeps you on the path you've been dreaming about!

*Make A List Of Manifestations

This is very similar to the Vision board, but instead of a visual, you will create a list of 5 very specific things you want to happen in the New Year. You can make these goals a little wild, but still within reach. Then... every morning when you wake up, read them out loud. I think you'll be surprised how many of them actually happen at the end of the year! I've noticed, this tool really helps keep your goals clear and helps you stay on track.

*Make A List Of Mantras

Write down a list of things like... I am powerful, I am attracting positive energy, Money comes easy to me, etc. This list you can hang up next to your list of manifestations and read it right before or after you read the manifestations. This helps keep you motivated and feel like you can do anything! Make sure to read them every day... even when you're feeling lazy, because that's when you'll need them the most!

*Surround Yourself With People Who Will Help Keep You On Track!

This is by far the most important step! Surround yourself with people who love you and want the best for you. You become the people you surround yourself with, so make sure they are going to be good for you and help motivate you to keep working toward your goals!
