Our first day in Austin:

We landed around noon and we arrived at the Fairmont Austin and immediately checked into our room, where we were greeted with a bottle of champagne and the most delicious macaron that I’ve ever tasted!

We spent the afternoon exploring Austin and then went to bed early.

The next morning, we woke up early and had breakfast at Revue. The pancakes were out of this world delicious!!

After breakfast, we went to our room to throw on swimsuits and we spent the morning at the rooftop pool. The pool is heated so you can swim even if there’s a little breeze outside, (even though we spent most of the time in the hot tub, lol)

Later that morning, we went to check out the Fairmont Spa Austin! We checked in about an hour before our massage so that we could use the sauna and steam rooms. We had the MOST relaxing 90 min couples massage! I actually fell asleep a couple times lol.

After our awesome spa treatments, we headed back to the room to change and eat lunch. We were both so relaxed we ended up taking a nap.

When we woke up, we got ready with a bottle of champagne and headed downstairs for dinner.

We ate at the hotel restaurant, Garrison’s for dinner. Riker and I love to order a bunch of food for the table to share so that we can both try a little bit of everything. We both agreed that our two favorite things on the menu werethe Brussel sprouts and the rigatoni swordfish pasta!

After dinner, we went to the bar to get some drinks and to enjoy the Montreux Jazz Festival! Jalen N’gonda is so talented. I could listen to him sing and play piano all day.

After the show, we headed back to Revue for a little sweet treat. We ordered the milkshake and crepe to share! The crepe was my favorite!

Our last day in Austin, we woke up and had breakfast again at Revue. I ordered the lox bagel and Riker ordered the breakfast tacos. We spent the day walking around Clarksville and 6th street. We tried oyster at Clark’s Oyster and moonshine at the Moonshine Restaurant and Bar!

Later that afternoon, we went back to our hotel and got ready for dinner. We had cocktails at the rooftop bar, Rules and Regs and watched the sunset and then we decided to go back to the hotel restaurant Revue. This restaurant is so cool because they have 4 different kitchens. Italian, Japanese, the Raw bar, and a desserts kitchen. We had to try a little bit of everything so, we got the ramen and Japanese pancakes along with garlic bread and the carbonara pasta.

We finished with a slice of chocolate cake!

Honestly, I loved everything we tried, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be the ramen!

After dinner, we went to bed early so we could woke up at 4am and fly home.

We had the best time at the Fairmont! I definitely recommend staying there if you're in Austin!

xx
